Droid inna London

I'm heading over to London in a couple of weeks to play alongside one-time Woofah editor, bass historian and bad grandad John Eden at Gabriel Heatwave's Hot Wuk Thursday night session. Being the recalcitrant numptybot that I am, Im gonna be bringing all vinyl and am currently trying to pare my selection down to a managable 100 or so 12"s and 200 or so 7"s. We're going to be playing reggae and dancehall across the board, with a leaning towards late 80's/early 90's material from myself (no surprises there then!), with maybe a bit of ragga jungle thrown in towards the end of the night.

So if you live in or near London this is your chance to bear witness to some exclusive Woofah bigwig combination devastation. North London, 13th of August - I expect to see all my UK readers there!

Apple has launched "Digital 45s" in the iTunes Store, a new concept offering a pair of songs from a single artist at a price slightly discounted from the individual track prices.

Harking back to the days of the vinyl 45 rpm record, the iTunes Store has launched a new section of the store for "D45s." As with vinyl 45s, these new digital packs contain two songs, traditionally made up of a single and B-side.

Kronos on Nova

Was listening to the radio last Sunday whilst eating some dinner and noticed something very strange - good music!
